DAYBREAK FAMILY SHELTER
Volunteer Information & Schedule for St. David's Episcopal Rotation

About Providing Dinner:

A hot dinner is provided Sunday through Saturday for host families participating in the DayBreak Shelter program. Dinners are served at the church providing the overnight facilities for that particular week.

Volunteers from participating churches can either prepare their meal at the church or pre-cook their meal and bring to the church to reheat. You can volunteer individually or as a group. When planning your meals we ask that you keep them simple (ie: soup/sandwich; hot dogs; macoroni and cheese...) due to the fact the the number of guests can change unexpectantly ( however it will never exceed 14). In addition we ask that left over food be taken with you as you leave the church.
