DAYBREAK FAMILY SHELTER
Volunteer Information & Schedule for St. David's Episcopal Rotation

About DayBreak:

DayBreak (formerly operated as the Metro East Portland Interfaith Hospitality Network or MEPIHN) is a family shelter currently operated by Human Solutions in cooperation with congregations from various spiritual traditions. DayBreak provides temporary shelter and support to homeless families and single woman as they look for housing and employment. Host Congregations provide overnight lodging, meals and hospitality for 14 shelter guests from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am the next morning. Every 9 weeks St David's Episcopal (located at SE 28th & Harrison) hosts the families for 1 week (Sunday to Saturday) and other neighborhood churches provide volunteers.
